About Us

ICON lifestyle magazine was born from SLexy Inc Magazine in January 2009, with our first issue hitting the virtual news stands on March 1st. The executive team behind ICON (SLexy’s Wil Dreadlow and Amira Footman) decided from the start that ICON should be a publication with a focus on integrity, both of design and content. They wanted to create a graphically beautiful magazine while still achieving the highest standard of content. A premier lifestyle magazine accessible enough for any SL resident to read and enjoy.
