Well, another day… another christmasy blog review Oh yes… my aim is bombard you with everything festive so that you are fully prepared for the party season and holiday. So here is some a little bit fun for the girls out there.

“KISS” by AtomicBambi

AtomicBambi is one of those rare finds on SL – a shop almost solely dedicated to hair accessories (I say almost as Ms Skytower has introduced a small range of glamorous female skins recently). Although her range of hair accessories are usally based on flower corsages it is lovely to see her turning her hand to something of different style. The “KISS” is a funky christmas hair piece decorated in mistletoe and lovely velvet bow – so there is no need to carry around a bunch of mistletoe over the party season and leaves your hands free for the christmas cuddle . Unlike other festive head pieces you see, this is definitely understated yet chic enough to get you noticed by potential kissers – and the fact that the bow is scripted colour change means you can wear it with almost any outfit!

After checking through all my blog entries it appears I have not written about my favourite items of clothing recently. Oh yes…. please do not moan :b…. but it is time for shoes.. glorious shoes!!!

“BEEBEE” Boots by SLink

SLink is probably more known for their prim bare feet than for anything else, however I believe it is time that Siddean Munro was recognised for something else – her shoe design. Now, I have been watching Ms Munro develop and grow in this area for some time, each release I can see how she has learnt from her previous experience and made alterations in the design or texture – so I was waiting with baited breath for the time when she created something that made my jaw drop and my purse become lighter. This time is nigh my lovelies. Just feast your eyes on these boots! I am completely and totally in love with the BEEBEE – had I enough money then the fatpack would have most definitely been bought. But as it stands now I have just the delectabile gunmetal pair to wallow in.

Everything about these boots scream future design classic….. the quirkiness of the shape, the attention to detail on the various texture layers, and even down to the heel tip. They are unlike any boots I have seen in SL before but do have the versatility to be worn on a number of different occasions.To be honest I was unsure whether I should tell you all about these boots as I wanted to keep the secret to myself – however it is the season of goodwill and all that lol – so I thought it would be one of my christmas presents to you

Oh yes ladies and gentleman, we are officially in the Christmas season. And what happens on the 1st December?? Well it is time for you start preparing for the big day…. and what better way to start than by purchasing some of the all important decorations for your home. Christmas Stockings by PALAIS

I thought I would start the first of my christmas decoration blogs with the good old Christmas Stocking. These symbols of christmas have come along way.. I recall when it just used to a prim with a photograph of a “rl” stocking on it !! So I am pleased to say PALAIS has moved on alot from those days and have come up with customizable furry beauties.

Their range of stockings will appeal to all avi’s young and old – and are the perfect accompaniment for the fire place. It seems my previous post has triggered a little of the “cowgirl” in me, as the first thing that caught my in today’s store can definitely fall in to that category.

“RUFFLES” by APPLE MAY DESIGNS

I first heard of APPLE MAY DESIGNS during last year’s “Peace on Earth” Hunt – well at least I am hoping it was APPLE MAY and not another designer lol. At the the time I did my usual perusal of the store but if I am honest I did not spend much proper time there…. for if I had THIS would certainly NOT be the first time I would be blogging about them – believe me! But then again, I am only pixels and do make mistakes…. but at least I admit it lol *slaps her own hand for the previous oversight*

“RUFFLES” is an outfit that appeals to every single one of my senses. Yes I know I always go on and on about textures in clothing but this time its different. This dress is something that I just cannot help looking at. Obviously the sateen finish plaid texture is amazing but there is something about the whole dress that makes me want to touch it, feel it and basically watch myself wear it in RL lol. Yes… I know that may sound “kinky” but that is the effect this dress has on me. May be its the fact that Ms May has such detail in the top as to show the outline / indentation of a bra that would have been worn had it been RL ? Or may be it is the fact that the prim collar ruffles match perfectly and symetrically with the prim skirt?Who knows what goes on in my little head sometimes .. lol …. but one thing I do know is that I will not be over-looking APPLE MAY DESIGNS again, and neither should you if you want to be smothered in texture heaven
